Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to the Joyté mobile application provided by Joyté, Lda. (“Joyté”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

The App allows authorized users of Joyté clients to view invoices, services, alerts, and related account information. The App complements services agreed between Joyté and your organization.

2. Eligibility and access

  • Access is by invitation only and requires a valid account created or approved by Joyté.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.
  • Interfere with the security or availability of the service.

4. Invoices and information

Invoice and billing information is provided for convenience and reflects data synced from Joyté systems. Official accounting or legal documents remain those issued through agreed billing channels.

5. Push notifications

You may enable or disable push notifications in your device settings. Message content relates to your account (e.g. invoice alerts). See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Availability and changes

We strive to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.

7. Intellectual property

The App, branding, and content (except your organization’s data) are owned by Joyté or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Joyté is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or end of the commercial relationship. You may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Courts in Portugal shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights where applicable.
